Sprinkle A Little Next on Your Christmas!

The very lovely Northern Mummy is hosting a fabulous competition to win £500 worth of Next vouchers over on her blog. All you have to do is share your perfect Christmas outfits-all inspired by Next! Now, I am no stranger to Next at all, in fact I'm the lady who is constantly refreshing their website for new products and who gets up in the VERY early hours to queue when the sales start! The boxing day sale is a particular killer, not long after retiring to bed after a day of pressies, beautiful food and lovely family times...and I'm up again to face the hoards! But so in love with everything Next am I that I don't care! Although my friends do think I'm mad!

Christmas Day in our household starts very early, with one little man and one not so little-big kid! We always have new pj's ready for the biggest day of the year, and I particularly love all the fair isle prints around these days! Here is what I've chosen for our Christmas Morning attire-personally I think these are perfect! Cosy, Christmassy and festive and very durable for hardcore pressie opening! We stay in our pj's while seeing what Santa has bought each of us, then for bacon sandwiches and bucks fizz and spend the morning indulging in new dvd's, yummy food and lots of snuggles with the odd new toy squeezed inbetween us!

After we spend the morning enjoying the new pressies, chocolates and toys that we are always fortune enough to receive we all get dressed up and get our sparkle on! It's one of the few times that my whole family dresses up and we all like to make a real effort. I personally love the excuse to get something uber girlie and fashionable and something that usually I couldn't get away with-it's only once a year after all! For this year I've chosen to go with studs as my key feature! I love these wedge boots and the studs on the back and the matching stud neckline on the dress! A nice military style coat for the walk to my parents (and the waiting turkey!) would keep me nice and warm and I like to think this outfit would spruce up my much disheveled Christmas Morning look-to something more sophisticated and glam! (You would never know I was up wrapping until the very early early hours as sparkle and studs is the antidote for black bags under the eyes didn't you know?!)

For Daddy there would be something with a Christmas Jumper like this! He is a huge fan of the old famous Christmas jumpers! So he would deffinately be needing one of those! Also a nice shirt for underneath so he can at least feel like a gentlemen at lunchtime although the Christmas jumper would deffinately be making a return the second the turkey is out of the way! He would also be wearing a nice chunky coat and matching scarf for our walk, to keep nice and snug-and of course some Christmas themed socks and pants!!

For the little man we have to keep on the most fashionable side! He's my little fashionista and is a real trend setter! This waistcoat means that he is ahead of the class on the fashion stakes but it's not too formal, he still needs to be comfortable while he runs around in a sweetie induced haze! Cute thick bobble hat and coat to match and some Christmas pants and socks to match Daddy's! How handsome he would look in this!

So that is what my family will aspire to wearing this Christmas day! I hope you like it! I had so much fun picking out our items for this post although my bank card didn't enjoy it so much as I totaled a VERY large figure between these bits and everything else I discovered while browsing! If you want to join in with this lovely competition then head over to Northern Mummy's blog and read the T&C's!

Love Chloe xx
