A Twenty Something Mum - Welcome! This is the blog (daily ramblings/observations) of your normal twenty something single Mummy! I love to write, paint, learn, listen, watch and bake cupcakes. Yup just your average Mummy in an average household!

For Grandad

My Grandad was a soldier. He fought valiantly for his country and followed through on his promise to serve and protect.

My Grandad was a dummer. He liked to play music, he liked to listen to music. He was an old school rocker and thought it was the bee's knees.

My Grandad was many things in his time, amoungst others he was a son, a brother, a husband, a father, a grandfather, a great grandfather.

My Grandad was a smart man, he always liked to take care of himself. He took pride in his appearance and it showed, even today.

My Grandad was a gardener, you would most likely always find him pottering in his garden. His garden was his second home and he loved it with his whole heart.

My Grandad loved to watch birds and I mean the type with wings (ha ha Grandad!)

My Grandad had a brilliant sense of humour and eyes that reflected his laughter to others around him.

My Grandad was a pro at being wrapped around little fingers. He had to be, living in a family with this many women (a wife, four daughters and five grandaughters)

My Grandad had a legacy, his legacy is this family. What a mark to leave on the world. Rest in Peace Grandad.

Love Pidge xx
