If like me, all of your friends seem to be getting pregnant and having babies at the moment, you will probably be spending more time than you care to admit searching the internet for the perfect gift to celebrate the new arrival. Seeing as I love to give pressies almost as much as I like to recieve them, I take pride in giving lovely gifts. So I wanted to let you in on a little secret of mine for you to share with your friends. Ever heard of Baby Blooms?
When I had my son our house resembled a florists for several weeks afterwards, it was beautifully touching the amount of flowers we received as I love flowers but Baby Blooms have taken this one step further. Quite frankly I'm a little upset none of my friends sent me one of their products instead!
Baby Blooms are the Uk's leading new baby gift company and have created these beautiful alternatives to fresh flower bouquets-baby clothing bouquets! The idea is that you can choose from their gorgeous selection of 'bouquets' much the same way as when you pick normal flower bouquets. Each has a range of baby clothing items wrapped and presented like a real flower within them. This means it's a practical gift as well as a stunning one! I for one remember what a nightmare it became when my house smelt like a pollen field after my son was born and getting rid of all those flowers when they died was really difficult so this alternative means no mess, practical giving and just as beautiful to display as real flowers. It's win win!
My bouquet arrived and I had chosen the Baby Brights Bouquet as the friend I am giving it to doesn't know whether she is having a boy or a girl. However obviously by the time she has had bubba we will know so this seemed the most bright and colourful option that will suit either sex. It didn't disappoint when it arrived either!
Boxed and displayed like any normal bouquet you can see the beautiful arrangement through the lid. Lots of brightly coloured 'flowers' and dried flowers were spraying a mix of reds, greens, yellows and oranges-perfect for boys and girls so I was really pleased. It really was lovely to look at and I didn't want to touch it at first! I just sat admiring it for a little while!
Included in my bouquet are three bibs and three pairs of cotton socks which will fit approximately 0-4 months so my friend should be able to get a great use from them for a while. Plus she can keep the dried flowers too, which I know she will love. Mind you in order to use the flowers and bibs and socks she is going to have to take the bouquet apart, which I think she will wait a while for as it's just so gorgeous to look at!
Competatively priced against fresh flower bouquets too and the fact you can get next working day delivery means I can't think of any reason not to choose a baby clothing bouquet as a gift over fresh flowers. Beautiful as they are, flowers die and then the thought it gone. A gift like this last much longer!
I even think these bouquets would be great for baby showers, as centre pieces and decorations too. Plus the Baby Blooms Website has lots of other funky baby gifts to choose from as well if you want to add another gift too! I can't recommend these bouquets highly enough and the customer service was excellent too, it gets five stars from me and I know my friend won't be recieving another gift like this when she gives birth (the baby is now over due! Come on Bubba!) so in my eyes it's a job well done and a gift well given!
Thanks to Baby Blooms I am giving one lucky reader the change to win one of these Baby Brights Bouquets worth £36 delivered to your door! All you need to do is visit our competition page HERE to enter for your chance of winning!

OMG What an absolutely fabulous idea! I have had six little ones and no one has ever bought me this type of gift! These need to be advertised more - maybe fliers put out in clinics where women attend for their anti-natal classes - then they can hint on to family and friends lol!

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous and perfect for us! My husband and I suffer from hayfever, so flowers can sometimes be a hassle in our home. Reminds me of our wedding night, we had the sniffles all night as my brother in law filled our car with rose petals, took weeks to get rid of the pollen!
